New Administrative Citation Program Begins August 24, 2018
Starting August 24, 2018,Permit Sonoma will begin implementing our new administrative citation program,supporting our goal of establishing a safe and healthy community. This new programprovides an additional tool for enforcement, enabling the County to enforcevarious codes and ordinances via less stringent enforcement action. Administrative citations give us the ability to respond immediately totransient and nuisance violations in the field. Read full story

Permit Sonoma has a new housing dashboard to measure our success in meeting ambitious housing goals set by the Board of Supervisors. The County will be partnering with cities to create a community-wide housing dashboard in the coming months. Read full story

Board of Supervisors Approves First Set of Housing Initiatives

Board of Supervisors Consideration of Revised OWTS Manual
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will be considering the revised onsite waste treatment systems (OWTS) manual at an upcoming meeting on May 22, 2018. If the Board approves the revision, the County will then submit a revised Local Area Management Program (LAMP) and OWTS Manual to the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB). Board Considers Vacation Rental Moratorium
